In this role, you will enable teams across markets, creative studios, and offshore production to adopt AI tools confidently and consistently, building the capabilities that power faster, higher-quality content delivery.
You will connect AI innovation directly to outcomes—shorter cycle times, lower cost per asset, stronger compliance, and improved downstream performance—while guiding leaders with clear, decision-ready insights. As part of a fast-moving digital transformation, you will help shape how AI, data, and design standards come together to reinvent how content is planned, created, governed, and scaled. Accountabilities:
- Lead AI training and adoption within GBSContent &Omnichannel Servicesdelivery teams: Design and deliverengaging, hands-on, role-based training forin-market teams, nearshore creativestudiosand offshore content producers.Create enablementassets, anddeliver pilot-to-scale playbooks to drive sustained adoption of GenAI andrelevantAIapplications acrossGBS processes and rolesintheAstraZenecacontent supply chain.Team member will plan and execute adoption programs with clear scope, timelines, risks, and change plans; proactively surface and resolve issues, align cross-functional stakeholders, and progress decisions withmanagement involvement as needed to remove barriers for mobility.
- Track and communicate KPIs: Define and measure AIadoption,impactand benefitmetrics (cycle time reduction, cost per asset, compliance-ready output ratee.g.‘right first time’,metadata completeness, adoption/usage, downstream business outcomes) and provide decision-ready reporting to guide investmentsand scalingdecisions.
- Articulateand shapeAI opportunities toinform leadership decisions: Build business cases, translate complex AI concepts into clearand simplevalue narratives, secure sponsorship, and recommend priorities for sequencing and scale-up.
- Operationalize standards and governance: Partner withGBScontent delivery managers to implement contentexcellencestandardsincluding design systems, metadata taxonomy, prompting guidelines, and AI governance toensure consistency, compliance, and scalability.
- Drive the strategic transformation of AstraZeneca's content supply chain through AI innovation.Identify, evaluate, and recommendcutting-edgeAI applications and models for critical use cases including generative content creation,componentmanagement, automated tagging, translation services, MLR-ready contentassistance, and performance analytics.Continuouslymonitoremerging AI trends in generative technology, modular content, and compliance-by-design solutions, translating these innovations into scalable, secure, and compliant tools that enable AstraZeneca's content supply chain reinvention. Through comprehensive evaluations and strategic recommendations, you will ensure the organization adopts the mostappropriate AItechnologies to enhance content creation efficiency whilemaintainingregulatory standards.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Design and deliver engaging, hands-on, role-based training for in-market teams, nearshore creative studios and offshore content producers.
- Create enablement assets and deliver pilot-to-scale playbooks to drive sustained adoption of GenAI and relevant AI applications across GBS processes and roles.
- Plan and execute adoption programs with clear scope, timelines, risks, and change plans; proactively surface and resolve issues, align cross-functional stakeholders, and progress decisions with management involvement as needed.
- Define and measure AI adoption, impact and benefit metrics (cycle time reduction, cost per asset, compliance-ready output rate e.g. “right first time”, metadata completeness, adoption/usage, downstream business outcomes) and provide decision-ready reporting to guide investments and scaling decisions.
- Build business cases, translate complex AI concepts into clear and simple value narratives, secure sponsorship, and recommend priorities for sequencing and scale-up.
- Partner with content delivery managers to implement content excellence standards including design systems, metadata taxonomy, prompting guidelines, and AI governance to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend cutting-edge AI applications and models for use cases including generative content creation, component management, automated tagging, translation services, MLR-ready content assistance, and performance analytics.
- Continuously monitor emerging AI trends in generative technology, modular content, and compliance-by-design solutions; translate these innovations into scalable, secure, and compliant tools that enable content supply chain reinvention.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience enabling AI adoption within complex, regulated content operations and omnichannel marketing ecosystems.
- Hands-on knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, content design systems, metadata models, and taxonomy management.
- Familiarity with medical, legal and regulatory (MLR) workflows and compliance-by-design approaches.
- Track record building pilot-to-scale programs and enterprise playbooks that deliver measurable adoption and performance improvements.
- Expertise in program management, stakeholder engagement, and change leadership across global, cross-functional teams.
- Ability to connect operational metrics to downstream business outcomes and communicate insights to senior leaders.
- Background in evaluating vendor solutions and models for security, compliance, and scalability in enterprise environments.
